For 25 years Chris has been leading man in major UK musical productions, including:

“Joseph” (Joseph) UK Tour

“Chess” (Freddy Trumper) UK Tour, New Zealand tour, Norwegian tour

“Jesus Christ Superstar” (Judas/Jesus) Repertory and UK Tour

“A Christmas Carol” (Scrooge) Theatre Clwyd

“Great Expectations” (Joe Gargery) Theatre Clwyd and UK tour

“Evita” (Ché) six UK tours and New Zealand

Chris learned his craft as an actor in repertory theatre at the Swan Theatre, Worcester;

Birmingham Rep; Oldham Coliseum and Manchester Library Theatre in a variety of roles, such as:

Howard Wagner in “Death of a Salesman”

Ladvenu in Bernard Shaw’s “Joan of Ark”

Linus in “ You’re A Good Man Charlie Brown”

 

Other Theatre credits include:

The Gingerbread Lady” (Lou Tanner) Theatre Royal, Windsor and UK Tour

with Marti Caine and Jeff Holland

“Grimaldi” (Charles Dickens),

experimental/community UK theatre tour

Mike Harding’s “One Night Stand” (Tex the Ted) at Oldham Coliseum and Apollo theatre, West End.

 

Music

 

Chris began as a musician and cabaret performer, with solo tours across the UK,
Germany and Portugal and Zambia.

 

  CD recordings: Love Songs and Best Musicals Ever albums with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra 

  and West End musical stars including Lesley Garrett.

 

  Expo 92 (Seville)  - A Royal Gala Concert of the music of Andrew Lloyd Webber

  with Michael Ball, Sarah Brightman and the Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra, before the Prince

  and Princess of Wales and Prince Carlos.

  Radio 2 Music Live ‘95, with the Liverpool Philharmonic Orchestra and Elaine Paige.
